About Me
Rachel graduated in 2009 from the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in Austin, TX. She specializes in Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Swedish, and Sports massage. Having worked with Chiropractors since she was 15, Rachel has always been drawn to the clinical setting and enjoys assisting others to heal from within. She believes with a healthy diet, self awareness, and education, the body can heal itself from most illnesses.

Prior to massage school, Rachel earned her Bachelors in General Business from the University of Texas at San Antonio. From a young age, she played soccer competitively and continues to enjoy playing recreationally. Rachel came to Connecticut to reconnect with her brothers, as well as to escape the Texas heat.

Licenced Massage Therapist
Completed 550 hour course focusing in Swedish, deep tissue, and sports/clinical massage. Included anatomy, physiology, contraindications, hydrotherapy, health & hygiene, and business practices.
Kinesio University 2016
Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner
Completed 24 hours focusing in Dr. Kenzo Kase’s therapeutic taping method and completed CKTP Examination. Currently practice Kinesio Taping Method on personal and chiropractic clients.
CORE Institute School of Massage 2017
Certified CORE Myofascial Therapist
Completed 48 hours focusing on Myofascial massage, geared towards athletes to help them perform at their greatest potential and aid in recovery of injuries. Hands-on experience with professional athletes during the course at XPE Training Facility.
Stretch to Win University 2018
Fascial Stretch Therapist-Level 1 Certification
Completed 35 hours, a pre-worshop module and post workshop practical training in table-based Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) assessment and hands-on techniques for the neuro-myofascial tissue in the body.
